Sometimes the smallest things matter. Like the art you choose for your home. It sends out a message of who you are and what are your values in life.
To me art is a critical part of a room. It either brights up my day or it brings me down. Even if I do understand the need of an artist to express also the dark and gloomy side of life, I do not wish to carry such pieces in my home. A great piece of art wakes up your imagination, cheers you up, gives you joy. It can make it in the form of a color combination, in a memory it takes you into, or in a shape. It can be smooth to touch or intresting to look at.

When I set my eyes on The Kiss, I knew I wanted it. The shape of this wooden sculpture is unique in its simplicity. It has such an interesting blend of sensuality in it. There is nothing to add, nothing that could be taken away. It simply is.
When choosing art for your home my advice is simple. If you like it, keep it!
